Jo Geenen uses Pastels to create award-winning works from subjects such as the seashore, landscapes, gardens or the changing skies. Experience here that refreshing feeling of being surrounded by a garden full of flowers or contemplate that special spot on the seashore in the evening light or at sunrise. In Jo's private studio she works with a large selection of pastels for blending and building up soft, rich areas of color and adding strokes for motion and brilliant highlights. Jo's work is include in many private and corporate collections across the country. Since 1972 Jo has been an active member and volunteer for area art organizations and also teaches Pastel classes for these Organizations. Jo has had her work juried into local and Midwest Pastel Society National shows.
